Showcasing their new collection designed with a focus on performance, innovation and working with modern lifestyles. With the backdrop of Truth Coffee in Cape Town, guests were treated to innovative and interesting cocktails and snacks as they navigated a unique fashion event experience. Last week, rugby affiliates, celebrities and Springbok rugby players celebrated the unveiling of the highly-anticipated new Springbok jersey at the Castle Of GoodHope in Cape Town. Guests including Vanessa Haywood, Africa Melane, Graeme Richards and SK Sekoati and myself were the first to see the new Springbok jersey in spectacular style as honoured guests Jeannie D, Janez Vermeiren and Siv Ngesi joined some of the Springbok players on state to showcase the new design. Spoilt with delicious snacks, Klipdrift cocktails, Ernie Els wines and Castle Lager throughout the evening, each guest received a Springbok jersey on departure and had the chance to meet and chat to all present Springbok players.

Earlier this month, South African actor, singer and producer, Emo Adams celebrated the launch of his “All Star Theatre“ with fellow all stars Loukmaan Adams, Sekoati SK, Crushanda Forbes and Wayne McKay to name a few. Special guests including radio & television personalities Tracey Lange, Janez Vermeiren, Jennifer Su, Liezel van der Westhuizen and models Cindy Nell and Tanya van Graan were invited to be dressed by Tommy Hilfiger for this exclusive event. Guests invited to enjoy champagne, canapés and a special gift from Tommy Hilfiger included Ryan Botha, Vanessa Haywood, Roxy Louw, Sue Duminy, Herschelle Gibbs, Sherrin Davie, Jackie Wiese, Jacob Wiese, Clayton Morar, Sharlene Lawrence, Thandie Kupe, Jasna Zellerhoff and myself. jeannie d raises funds for ‘help2read’ charity

Last week, South African television personality Jeannie D invited some of her friends to an intimate event in association with Brutal Fruit SA to raise funds for a charity organization that she is most passionate about, Help2Read. The event took place at The Grand Cafe & Room in Camps Bay where guests including Janez Vermeiren, Jackie Wiese, Jacob Wiese, Shirley Bell, Bertha Marie Le Roux, Sue-Ann Allen, Angie Lazaro, Dylan Savage, Danny Peer and myself were invited to make a donation to the charity and enjoy an evening of canapés, sweets and Brutal Fruit beverages. Active in Cape Town since 2005 Help2Read, volunteers provide invaluable literacy support in 111 schools across South Africa changed the lives of over 6500 children so far. With Brutal Fruit SA donating R200 000, Jeannie encouraged her friends to donate and raise additional funds in support of Help2Read.

Today, multi-platinum global superstar, singer-songwriter Mariah Carey debuted her new single “#Beautiful“, featuring Miguel. Taking a break from ‘The Mrs Carter Show World Tour‘, Grammy winning 31-year-old singer, Beyoncé recently posted a stunning picture of herself with her 1 year old daughter, Ivy. Sporting a striped swimsuit with a tiny bow in her hair, little Ivy is clearly following in her mothers footsteps with style. This “Grown Woman” looks as stylish as ever with oversized sunglasses, jewelled earrings and animal print head wrap.

Jessica Alba is back on-set for her latest film sent in 1962, ‘Dear Eleanor‘, directed by Kevin Connolly. The 32 year old brunette posted a few sneak peek pics on Instagram last Thursday.

Mad Men‘s Linda Cardellini revealed on The View on Friday that she is engaged to her longtime boyfriend Steven Rodriguez. “I was surprised that it was happening at that moment,” she said. “We were actually with some of the people I love most: my sister, and my cousins and one of my best friends and we were sitting, and he started getting choked up and then got on his knee. It was very beautiful.“

Last night, the biggest selling female recording artist in history performed her latest single, “#Beautiful” featuring Miguel and Jeezy at the BET Awards 2013. The singer performed the latest remix of this record live, after releasing it on YouTube on Saturday night, the day before the BET Awards. In addition, Mariah and Miguel re-sung the track in Spanish and English, with the title “#Hermosa” for all her Spanish speaking fans. Click here to hear the new remixes of “#Beautiful”.

Spending another week at the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart this week, with “Blurred Lines“,  Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams celebrates their remix with rapper T.I. Performing at the BET Awards 2013 last night, Thicke ventured out into the award show audience to get everyone involved while T.I. made a cameo.

Possibly the strongest track on her new album, “Dirty Laundry” is the latest single from former Destiny’s Child singer, Kelly Roland. On the new track , Kelly sings about the jealousy she felt living in the shadow of her high-achieving former bandmate, Beyoncé, as the lyrics journey through a variety of topics.
